We are currently hiring Direct Permanent Forklift operators 

The Forklift operator's main task is to lift and move pallets and ropacks to load and unload trucks

Main responsibilities

  • Unload/Load the trailers
  • Read destination labels written on ropacks and move freight as required
  • Constantly feeding ropacks to the pick line
  • Carefully transport merchandise throughout the warehouse
  • Ensure removal of empty trailers
  • Preparing final reports on removed trailers and received merchandise
  • Do a thorough pretrip and post trip of the Forklift assigned to your at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Preparing a final report on the number of ropacks remaining on warehouse floor
  • Ensuring all the freight is moved to the appropriate trailers to ensure cut times are made for Drivers to depart.
  • Communicates with the Team Leads and Supervisors
  • Maintains open line of communication with his/her supervisor

Working conditions

  • 80% of the time sitting on the Forklift
  • 20% of the time standing in the warehouse
  • Variable weather conditions
  • Physical work

  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
