We are currently hiring for immediate Full-Time,Temporary Day shift, G Class Drivers.

Job Description

This role is pivotal to the success with Dicom Transportation Group’s growth within the industry. In this role, you will ensure all parcels are delivered safely and successfully on a daily basis.

You will deliver packages to various customers and businesses in the GTA. You will promote safe driving practices, exhibit ownership over the customer experience, efficiently load and unload packages so they are damage free, Communicate effectively with Dispatcher on a day to day operation

Qualifications

  • All Drivers must be fully licensed as a G Class Driver
  • Must hold a clean drivers abstract
  • All Drivers must provide proof of auto insurance
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • You must be available to work up to 12 hour per day. 125-200 stops per shift.
  • Must be comfortable working any 5 days of the week, as weekends will be part of your weekly schedule.
  • You must also be comfortable sitting for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Must be comfortable and confident to drive in all weather conditions
  • All drivers must be comfortable driving a larger vehicle and must be comfortable driving in all weather conditions.

Location: The warehouse to pick up packages to be delivered is in our Pickering facility. 

Working Conditions: Driving 80% of the time, loading/unloading packages 20% of the time

Shift: Days

Route load: 150-200 stops per day

Position pay type: Hourly wage
