Tractor Mechanic / Truck Trailer Mechanic – Brampton

310T / 310J Licensed / Apprentice

 

Dicom Transportation Group is presently looking for an experienced Truck and/or Trailer  Mechanic with great knowledge of Trucks and Trailers to work our Evening shift (230PM – 11PM)  Monday to Friday in our Brampton garage. 

The ideal candidate is someone who is dedicated, self-motivated and flexible to do various tasks. Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in truck and trailer maintenance, diagnosis and repairs.

In this role you will do the inspection, diagnosis and repair of the trucks and trailers with / without supervision. The candidate must own a set of tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of truck and trailer preventative maintenance.


Key Accountabilities:

·  Inspects truck and trailers daily as assigned (Preventive maintenance)

·  Repair mechanical breakdowns.

·  Fill in driver reports.

·  Fill in computer-based work orders.

·  Maintain a clean, safe work environment





Job Requirements

The candidate must own a set of tools and have a valid 310T certification
